AGM
The AGM is held during the Winter season.
Availability lists
On the Fixtures notice boards you will find sheets for matches on which you can write
your name if you are available to play. The captains will try to be as fair as possible when
selecting teams.
Bowls Stickers
When progressing to play in matches you will need to ensure that you have the Club
coloured stickers on all your bowls. These are available from the Bar.
Care of Club Facilities
All members are asked to contribute to the smooth running of the Club by offering their
assistance in maintenance and social activities. These include mowing the green,
maintenance of equipment, care of the gardens and patio pots, helping run the bar,
window cleaning, assisting with sales table and raffles, and helping at social functions.
Catering
Members help with mid-week suppers and weekend teas occasionally throughout the
Season on a rota basis. The Catering Officer produces the rota at the beginning of the
Season placing new members with more experienced members. For the 2017 season
external caterers will handle the catering for friendly games
Coaching
Coaching sessions by qualified instructors are available. Further details can be found on
the lobby notice board.
